“Artist residencies offer temporary homes, impermanent shelters for the production of work and reflection. The ‘House’ transcends the notions of coexistence and dialogue. It celebrates everyday life events as triggers of traces; the succession of visitors as a construction process of a home to be inhabited by those who can live in it.“
The Residency project ¨Who can live in this house? ¨, opens the doors of the House and invites artists from different disciplines and countries; to take the space as a temporary home, intervene in it, inhabit it. The project encourages dialogue between resident artists and the people of the Villa Jardín neighborhood, placing Zona Imaginaria as a place of exchange through artistic experiences.
The House
The House has several spaces. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen-dining room, a constantly growing library, two large patios, a workshop with a ceramic and glass oven where the free workshop for boys and girls from the “Little Apprentices” neighborhood is held.
Next to it is the Workshop equipped to develop graphic techniques, it is a meeting and presentation space for artists.
