SOBRE LA RESIDENCIA
¿Quien puede vivir en esta casa?

En una época de puertas cerradas, literal y metafóricamente, casi como un desafío, apostamos a abrir las puertas de esta casa.
El espacio del hogar muestra a las representaciones artísticas de una manera más accesible -sin por ello simplificar ni modificar su lenguaje- poniendo en primer plano la problemática de la mirada en relación con el arte y la cotidianeidad. La familiaridad de los espacios nos permiten el acceso a manifestaciones estéticas no habituales, acercándole a la comunidad obras de arte contemporáneo transformando espacios del día a día en un médium entre el arte y la cotidianeidad.

Propuesta

Abrimos las puertas de la casa e invitamos a artistas de distintas disciplinas; países; culturas; trayectorias; historias y edades a tomar el espacio como hogar temporario, intervenirlo, habitarlo, manipularlo, como también enviar arte correo, donaciones para la biblioteca y videoteca, con la casa, a su vez, funcionando como tal.
Invitamos a críticos, curadores, vecinos del barrio y empresas aledañas a reflexionar para así entablar el dialogo con la comunidad y “abrir las puertas” a una nueva aproximación a los conceptos de  “sociedad” y “auspicio” hacia el arte, desde el arte.

Objetivos

El proyecto propone la creación de espacios culturales y reflexiones múltiple destinados al encuentro vivencial, al tiempo que invita a convivir y crear redes, fomentando los vínculos sociales, los aspectos culturales del intercambio, los procesos formativos y el pensamiento crítico.

About the Residency
Who can live in this House?

In an era of closed doors, literally and metaphorically, we have committed ourselves to the challenge of opening the doors of this house. The place of a Home shows an array of different contemporary art practices in a friendlier way- yet not simplifying or modifying its language – focusing on the relationship between art and everyday life.

The familiarity of spaces allows us the access to unusual aesthetic manifestations, bringing close to the community contemporary art works, thus transforming the daily life spaces in a medium between art and the everyday.

Proposal

We open the doors of the House and invite artists from different disciplines, countries, cultures, backgrounds, histories and ages to take the space as a temporary home, to intervene it, inhabit it, manipulate it, as well as to send mail art and make donations to the library and organic media library, while the House also continues to function as such. We also invite critics, artists, curators, neighbors and nearby industries reflect and enable a dialog with the neighborhood and to “open the doors” to new concepts of “society” and “sponsorship” to art, from art.

Purpose

The project proposes the creation of cultural spaces for multiple reflection, intended to focus on experiential encounters while inviting to coexist and to weave webs,
encouraging social bonds, the cultural aspects of the exchange, the formative processes and critical thinking.
